Am I the only Gransnetter watching this? It's very good. It is about a Rwandan girl adopted by a British female judge, and the judge is appointed to sit at a war criminal tribunal, and the mother and adopted daughter are on opposing sides. Excellent acting, high quality production, interesting story line switching between UK, The Hague and Rwanda.

I've only watched one episode but I'm hooked. I think all episodes are available on iPlayer.

I watched the first one and gave up I didn’t take to any of the characters in it My daughters watching and enjoying but it didn’t catch me I m afraid

It just didn't appeal and it clashes with 'Strangers'.

I thought I would give it a go, and didn’t expect to take to it, but it’s intruiging. I have set it to record and am looking forward to watching the next one.

Episode 2 is great!

I think this is one of the best dramas shown on TV. Really excellent.

I'm recording it but haven't watched it yet.

Just started reading tv section here and am quite surprised at how so many people are not enjoying the great quality tv BBC has this autumn. Killing Eve and Wunderlust and the above. Grumpy grans it seems. I cannot abide soaps, game shows and all the other clap trap. Makes a change to have these on terrestrial tv for a change smile

I watched two episodes last night, and I think it is very good. However, I kept having to pause and ask my partner what on Earth was going on- he seems to catch on to plots quicker than I do. The young lead actor is beautiful!

I’m hooked now - love John Goodman.

Greyduster me too (re John Goodman).

DoraMarr I agree, she is mesmerising. We've watched her before in a comedy series and she was absolutely brilliant in that too.

Switched off Strangers after two episodes.
Didn't fancy Wanderlust at all!
Same for The Cry.
Killing Eve - compulsive viewing.
Will certainly try Black Earth Rising.
