Going to see it this week, and really looking forward to it. Golden Years from a couple of years ago was great fun too, with a superb cast and an improbable but 'oh if only' story. 
We want to see this too. A few years ago, we went to Port Isaac for a holiday. We were excited to see the filming of Doc Martin. Then one evening, a small crowd gathered on the beach so we sat on an upturned canoe and waited to see what was happening. These chaps appeared and started singing sea shanties. It was The Fishermen s Friends before they were famous.
