Oh wow! I have gone back to episode one and it is so good, so relevant.

Namsnanny Sun 05-May-19 21:01:33

9.00pm Here we go....!!!

Namsnanny Sun 05-May-19 22:26:20

I'm so going to miss the music!!

Pittcity Sun 05-May-19 22:29:42

Well I was right about GB. But who is the 4th Dot?

tanith Sun 05-May-19 22:30:28

Anyone else feel that was a bit of a let down? Enjoyable but a bit of an anti-climax.

icanhandthemback Sun 05-May-19 22:31:26

What a strange ending!

dragonfly46 Sun 05-May-19 22:33:00

I thought it was brilliant!

Namsnanny Sun 05-May-19 22:33:55

ican…...how strange?

seacliff Sun 05-May-19 22:35:20

I was disappointed.

Auntieflo Sun 05-May-19 22:55:20

Not disappointed, had to concentrate all the time. Looking forward to the next one

Maggiemaybe Sun 05-May-19 22:56:35

Aw, I enjoyed it, and I’m really going to miss it now it’s done. That scene in the ladies’ was the stuff of nightmares!

I did think the four dots explanation was a wee bit 3-2-1 though, feller. hmm

Marelli Sun 05-May-19 22:57:18

After looking forward to it all week I fell asleep. Now I have to watch it all again. ?

Gonegirl Sun 05-May-19 22:59:26

I do not believe anybody understood that.

Just don't believe it.

Gonegirl Sun 05-May-19 23:01:26

Well, I fell asleep a bit. But I don't believe it made any difference. Totally inaccessible.

In fact, I've got a feeling it was rubbish.

So there.

tanith Sun 05-May-19 23:02:39

What didn’t you understand Gonegirl?

Namsnanny Sun 05-May-19 23:03:51

Marelli...…Ha ha! Did you fall asleep in front of the TV then wake up to the music gringrin?
That's what I do!!

Gonegirl Sun 05-May-19 23:04:56

Well, starting from the second episode......

Namsnanny Sun 05-May-19 23:06:29

I thought having Ryan as a police recruit was brilliant!

The jury is still out on Ted though don't you think?

Gonegirl Sun 05-May-19 23:07:07

Were we supposed to understand what all those "sections" and "paragraphs" were all about during the interview? That's when I fell asleep. It was sort of hypnotic.

Gonegirl Sun 05-May-19 23:08:17

And how come Ted had the missing 50k to give to the wife?

mcem Sun 05-May-19 23:08:45

Found the last episode easy to follow, tying up loose ends, confirming suspicions and opening the way for the next series.
Liked the suggestion that there's no getting rid of corruption as long as willing new recruits are coming along. Wondering what impact that young rookie will have in the next series.

Namsnanny Sun 05-May-19 23:11:02

Gonegirl….Yes those interviews are hypnotic, I think they're there to stop us seeing exactly where the real answers are! A bit of a red herring in a way.

paddyann Sun 05-May-19 23:12:58

Martin Compson fans might like to find the interview with Edie Stark on BBC Scotland Its Stark Talk and it been a great series with interesting folk The Martin Compson one was really good ,he comes across as a very well sorted young man without an ego.

Namsnanny Sun 05-May-19 23:16:09

mcem….the rookie recruit, is the young boy from series one, who was in the employ of the baddies. He was the one nearly always on a bike, who tried to cut of Steve Arnot's finger. He also murdered John Corbet (I think!).
He's been groomed and planted.

Gonegirl Sun 05-May-19 23:18:09

I did think it was exciting when they all turned their guns on each other. smile God knows why they did it though

Gonegirl Sun 05-May-19 23:21:57

Series One?!

Son said the young one slit John's throat.

I need to watch it again.
