The dog in Midsommer Murders has sadly died . He was the best actor in the programme .

Oh no, he was a fantastic little dog and definitely one of the best actors in Midsomer Murders. Sykes had such an expressive face. God bless his little heart.

I love that scruffy little terrier on Doc Martin, he so wants to be Doc's little pal but he keeps getting short shrift sad

He is trying to escape a mob chasing him after the murder. He is shot and falls, but presumably the shot kills him as he’s attached to a rope he was trying to use to climb to a roof and thus he doesn’t fall to the ground.
