Is this me? Most of the time I cant catch what they are saying! My hearing is fine and I know the plot necessitates athat the women have to speak quietly, but does it have to be virtually indecipherable? I WANT to understant but the mumbling makes it so difficult.

It is a problem for me with some tv programmes these days. I just switch on the sub titles. I have given up,on this series if The Handmaid’s Tale, not for that reason though, I’ve just lost interest in it.
