I am so sad to hear that Kirsty Young is standing down. I have been waiting impatiently for her return. I'm sure Lauren Laverne will be fine but I loved Kirsty's voice and her way of chatting to guests.
However as a fellow sufferer of fibro I'm glad she is feeling better and wish her well in any new ventures. But I will miss her.

I love her voice and they way she say " bible" .No getting away from a west of Scotland accent.

in the dim and distant past she was engaged to my friends brother,she was a lovely young woman and appears to have stayed the same grounded person she was then.Its sad she's having to give up a job she clearly enjoys but as my daughter has the same condition I understand how hard it must be for her .I wish her all the best for her future and hope of a cure for her fibro
