Death of Mountbatten Documentary.

As Calendargirl says, let us hope we never return to those dark days, which is yet another reason why the question of the Irish border is so much more than a simple question of free trade or tariffs in any Brexit projections.
Sorry to bring the “B” word into it, but it cannot be ignored.
Excellent documentary!

I remember it happening as I was watching TV at the time when it was on the news. Everyone I knew was upset and shocked by it. A sad day indeed. Prince Charles was very close to him.

Just watched this very interesting and moving programme, covering not only his death, but all the others affected. The poor mother of 15 year old Paul Maxwell, still grieving after 40 years. And India Hicks, Mountbatten’s granddaughter, speaking so honestly and movingly about grief and forgiveness. I hope we never return to these dark days.
