A wonderfully rousing rendition of the Cancan (Offenbach’s overture to “Orpheus in the Underworld” ) brought smiles to a great many faces tonight.
What a wonderfully good humoured occasion.

I've had to pluck up courage to watch it tonight (emotions all over the place) but it's wonderful. Even the cat is purring along to 'Somewhere Over the Rainbow' grin

Some splendid violin playing from the leader during the early part of the Offenbach.

I am glad you have managed to watch this tonight merlot in spite of everything - you have stuck by the Proms all summer, so can't miss the last night!
