Star wars, lord of the rings, guardians of the galaxy, harry potter, comedies like home alone, pink panther (the steve martin one) adams family, michael morpurgo, Bumblebee movie (not babyish!) Jurassic park

DGS (a bit younger) loves the Percy Jackson books and I see they have been turned into films, available on DVD.

Percy Jackson and the Olympians series
Spy Kids (I enjoyed that one but watched with a granddaughter)
Aquaman (I didn't like it but the boys did!)

I'm trying to find suitable DVDs to entertain my 13-year-old GS who I look after one evening per week. I hire them from our local library. Last week I borrowed a Disney one but it was too young for him. I really don't like what I call unsuitable stuff so can anyone recommend titles for a boy that age please? Obviously I'm thinking of adventure, comedy or even horror stories if they aren't too scary.
