Watched this film the other day (1942?)
Dear old Bing and Fred, supposedly young men, both looked rather staid and a bit dull.
Bing trilling away on the piano, singing ‘White Christmas’ to a new young woman who seemed to pick up the words very quickly. Tinkling the bells on the Christmas tree with his pipe, tut tut. Fred dancing merrily at every opportunity.
Visitors arrived at the inn on a horse drawn sleigh, on the snow covered ground.
A load of tosh really, but oh, how nice to escape for a couple of hours!
