just love it and find it so moving. Got quite a few things I'd like to take to them to bring back to its former glory.

One of them if a Magic Lantern.

First of all- sorry, didn't see there was already a thread on this. So perhaps best to switch back to original.

A magic lantern is the original cinema - a metal box with a light, and cartoon slides painted on glass on slowly pushed through- each with a different short story. Our was my grand-parents- but we often used it when we were kids. Apparently some pornographic slides were also in existence, but never seen any.

We love this programme too - it’s very moving and the technical skills of the craftspeople are just jaw dropping. Imagine having a skill like that!
