Anyone watch this latest Scandi drama?

Usual scenario at the start, dead body in the snow.

The main character, Detective Wisting, seems to follow a similar pattern, he’s a widower, not sure how wife died, they always seem to be widowed or divorced.
Feisty daughter, didn’t take to her somehow, journalist doing a feature for local paper on Loneliness, about a neighbour who lay dead in his house for about three months. Couldn’t help but feel the detective not very observant about the goings on next door. Also seemed strange the daughter was given the keys to deceased’s house by the police plus photos of the corpse and free rein to poke about there whenever she felt like it.
I digress, the body in the snow is connected to an American serial killer, the FBI have come to help, and I wonder if Det. Wisting might end up with the female agent.
Daughter now thinks neighbour was murdered, and one of the investigating team seems to have locked a young woman in his house.

I shall keep watching.

I watched Wisting last night and thought it disappointing due to the usual cliches already mentioned.
It tested my patience when Wisting drove off from a possible murder scene to collect his son from the airport.

I quite enjoyed it, despite all the infringements of rules and protocol etc. At least it held my interest without being too complicated to follow, introducing new characters one at a time so that by the end of the episode we have some grasp of who they all are .... and the final twist was a cliffhanger than will keep my interest until the next episode.

I watched it. After several excellent Scandi productions, "The Killing", "The Bridge" an Icelandic one, only the first, follow up wasn't so good, name escapes me and best of all the fantastic "Borgen", unfortunately of late a lot of their exports tv wise have not been up to the same high standard. In fact I'd go as far as to say some have been dire. Stopped watching one from last year where some maniac was keeping kidnapped girls in a locked rooom somewhere, really don't like that type of theme at all, have a feeling this new one might go the same way, however, I will reserve judgement.

French tv, particularly Spiral, are hard to beat.

I enjoyed it. I liked the two incidents where police officers put family before job- very Scandinavian, and I liked the incredulous look on the American cop’s face and her amazement that they would approach a suspect unarmed. I think the differences between US and Norwegian policing and society were well portrayed.

Thank you TerriBull. I would imagine it’s on the BBC iPlayer.
