I have seen this on the Netflix home page, I will give it a try.

Ah, now I understand. One of my daughters recommended it. I started to watch it but was horrified by the cat torture. I didn't realise it's based on a true case, I turned it off because I began to feel really uneasy about the references to animal torture. If I'd realised it was RealLife I'd have watched longer - maybe!

Absolutely Oops!
I only meant to watch one episode downstairs while waiting for DH to make dinner.
Binge watched the entire thing in 1 sitting!
I loved that bit.

However. I don’t think they shoulder any blame at all for his actions.
If they didn’t feed him his attention he would’ve gotten it from somewhere else. He knew what he wanted and he knew what he was going to do.

It was fascinating, wasn't it, Bibbity

Not everyone's cup of tea

But the work the group members put in was amazing

Loved the end when the woman spoke directly to camera!

I’m still processing and I watched it yesterday! I can’t believe the police didn’t listen to them.
I can’t believe how intelligent and committed the group members were.

But above all else. I can not believe how moronic his mother is.

Thanks Oopsminty, think I'll give it a miss.

Well I have no real idea what that is about. Please someone give me some clues.

My son mentioned this programme to me - I adore cats - but I must say that I found it shocking that it took such a long time for the perpetrator to be caught and brought to justice.

I found it rather boring, and too long.

Ah yes, Smileless

I closed my eyes and sang opera when they showed the video

The animal cruelty was mentioned but not many shots of it

The programme content itself was fascinating

Smileless2012 Fri 03-Jan-20 11:46:19

We were going to watch it but right at the beginning there were newspaper clips about animal cruelty so I turned it off. Is that part of the content?

Yep. I saw it

Incredible

I was amazed that I had never heard of this case as well

Did anyone see Don't F* with Cats on Netflix? I couldn't believe what I was watching - it was the best documentary I have ever seen. Totally addictive and very shocking!
