Another one to go on my list, thank you, this has passed me by and Anne Of Green Gables was one of my favourite books.

Jane43, this is a reimagining of Anne of Green Gables, so please don't be disappointed that it isn't the same as the book.

Thanks MiniMoon I will give it a try. I doubt if I can remember all the details of the book as I was about 13 when I read it and its sequels.

I loved the first series, but now they are making it up. Way off what I remember as a wonderful series of books. The biggest crime is the relationship between Anne and Gilbert.

I loved the Anne of Green Gables books and initially enjoyed this series until Anne just got a bit......irritating.

Yes, Anne of Green Gables. Marilla and Mathew were the folks who took Anne under their wing. I always loved the BBC version which was recorded many years ago.

Marilla. Was Anne played by Kim Braden? I enjoyed that one.

I have recently watched the whole series and loved it!

Loved Kim Braden series.
On episode 3. Enjoying it much more than I thought I would.

I binge watched it all, loved it, so much in every episode to discuss with dgd if she watches it. Was sad when it finished last night but it had a most satisfying ending

Just as an aside, is this the same Kim Braden who is the daughter of Bernard Braden and Barbara Kelly?
