The Untold - Grace Dent

Does anybody find this programme incredibly irritating, not to say misleading?
The “untold” stories are not some dreadful scandal covered up by the establishment, or amazing personal triumphs or tragedies, but, well, frequently (at best) trivial.
As for Grace Dent and her breathy voice which promises so much but shows all the charisma of a wet weekend in Bridlington, has she not realised that these stories are “untold” because they were not worth telling in the first place?
This week’s (be still my beating heart) looks at the problems facing a community radio station in the West Country. hmmhmm

I find it quite useful, especially when it's on after 11pm. Our radio comes on at 11 when we put our books away and try to go to sleep. The Untold does a grand job of sending me to sleep!

I've made it a rule to never watch or listen to any programme with the words secret, untold, unknown in the title. They very rarely reveal anything of interest and, as you say MawB , they're usually not worth telling in the first place!

I agree GD's breathy intro promises much but the story is usually dull.

But it's not as bad as the dreary Listening Project!

Oh yes I gate The Listening Project!

Grace Dent is so boring.

I hate her voice too but loved it initially. I do enjoy some of the stories though although I agree they are trivial I quite like “life” stories.
