I thought I'd hate it, was persuaded to watch it, and it's a joy.

Re-watching Schitt's Creek (all 80 episodes). Love it!

I loved Anne with an E on Netflix. Based on Anne of Green Gables New version made in 2017/2018 there are 3 series and a petition to have a fourth has been set up.

Im on second viewing of Line of Duty! Just love it.

Thank goodness for Netflix, there is very little of interest to me on the mainstream channels at the moment. I just watched Bridge Of Spies starring Mark Rylance and Tom Hanks, very interesting and emotional at the end when Mark Rylance’s character was exchanged for the American pilot Gary Powers and an American student. Tom Hanks is good as usual but Mark Rylance gave a superb performance. He won a lot of awards including an Academy Award and a BAFTA for best supporting actor.

I’ve just watched The Show Must Go On which is the story of how Queen revived their act with singer Adam Lambert. It is very good, I will definitely watch it again as I have been a fan if A L since he first appeared on American Idol.

I’ve started to watch Series 3 of The Sinner, it’s very good.

Yes I loved Unorthodox too but gave up on Shtisel.

I have just watched The Fundamentals of Caring on Netflix, following a recommendation on Mumsnet.

The story is - a 18 year boy with muscular dystrophy (Craig Roberts) goes on a road trip with his caregiver (Paul Rudd), and the pair learn about life from the people they meet along the way.

The title didn't sound appealing, but it was actually a really lovely, warm and funny, unusual short film.

Becoming. The film of Michelle Obamas book tour.

Unorthodox. A 6 part drama of a young Jewish girl looking to escape from her very strict Hasidic upbringing.
Plus the making of which was quite an eye opener.

I enjoyed Unorthodox, thanks to recommendations here. Have now just started watching Shtisel, but it hasn't grabbed me yet. It is the same actress as Esty, so at first I thought the stories were connected.

I also loved Ladies in Black. A real feel good film, and I loved the 1950s Sydney background.

I refuse to pay for extra channels when I have to purchase a licence to support the dreadfully biased BBC. Anyway, whenever I babysit, I can watch SKY Movies for free at my daughter's. I have a lot to catch up on.

Designated Survivor - if you liked the West Wing, this is along same lines. Really enjoying it. Also been watching all series of Line of Duty, even better 2nd time round.

Yes I enjoyed Ladies in Black too. No complicated plot hopping back and forth in time, no swearing every other word and no violence so quite a change.

For those who like a relaxing film, try Ladies in Black on Netflix. The title refers to the uniform for sales ladies in the fashion department of an old fashioned department store - it is set in the 1950s in Sydney, Australia.

The matriarch from A Place Called Home is in it, also Julia Ormond.

I really enjoyed it.

We watched The Healer yesterday. I didn't think I would like it, but it was very good.
I'm also watching Dinner Ladies and Red Dwarf again.
