Virgin media advert? Am I the only one who doesn’t get it?

Some tosh about "seal of approval" for ultra fast broadband speeds. It crashes because he's surprised by the appearance of the bloke. No clue about Lasers.

I am similarly baffled. I know the advert you mean, but had not even taken in that it was for Virgin Media. No idea what it's trying to say.

Maybe I’ve missed something, but I simply don’t understand the Virgin Media advertising, what is the seal doing? Why is it floating in midair? Why does it crash through the table? And what does the cry “laser” mean?
Can anyone help and/or explain it?
