Ladies of Letters

I had heard the radio ones and was pleased when it moved to television, with different “ladies”
It started well and was entertaining but sadly developed into farce by the last couple of series.
I hope you enjoy it though.

I remember enjoying this on the radio, performed by Patricia Routledge and Prunella Scales. I’ve now discovered a television version, by Anne Reid and Maureen Lipman on Amazon Video, and am enjoying it just as much.
( I was actually looking for ‘ A Lady of Letters’ by Alan Bennett, another great performance by Patricia Routledge).
