Anyone watching? Thought last night's episode was brilliant. Nicola Walker is sooooo good. Could have watched next episode so easily but thought I would be a good girl and wait until next week. Can't have too much of a good thing wink Things def hotting up I would say.

Does anyone know what that magnificent building is in this week's episode, where they are going up steps to the CLS moot court.?

This is one series that has got better as its gone along. Hannah was left with no option really but to confess. Last episode next week, wonder if there will be another series.

Decided NOT to binge watch and watch accordingly. Thoroughly enjoyed last night's episode. What a decision to make! Wasn't sure it was the right one until the end. However she has done the right thing, she would never have felt comfortable staying with Nathan knowing her past with Christie. All coming together now for everyone. Good viewing I would say and great characters.

DH was also wondering who does their laundry as they are always perfectly turned out.

Favourite character is Zander, hard as nails on the surface and all heart underneath. Don't like Nina much, but maybe starting to warm a bit; but no, because if she is going to get involved with Tyler that will break Zander's tender heart ...

Soap children are like that Loopy appear well cared for etc without any apparent parental input, would that real life was so effortless.

I don't like Christie either Welshwife

kittylester Mon 09-Mar-20 08:19:31

Details, loopy, details! grin

loopyloo Mon 09-Mar-20 08:03:09

I find myself wondering who looks after the children. They appear, as if by magic, already to go to school and who is there when they arrive home?
And the front door looks very insecure. It's arched and has only one lock.
If you are having an affair surely you have your phone on silent?
And when do they get any work done?

Welshwife Sun 08-Mar-20 22:54:20

I thought it was interesting when she told Christie last week that she chose to marry Nathan as she wanted him to be the father of her children.
I don’t like the Christie character at all.

Yep, we've binged watched the whole thing, absolutely loved it. Top notch, there just has to be another series if only to get a fix of lovely clothes and houses and super-sharp haircuts (except for Rose's husband James, who could definitely do with a short back and sides ....)

Harris27 Sat 07-Mar-20 21:02:21

Loved it once I started watching it I couldn’t stop!

I love this series, especially Stephen Mangan and he's great on Portrait/Landscape Artist of the Year too!
I don't enjoy watching Nicola Walker though, she's got such a miserable range of expressions.
The rest of the cast are interesting and I agree with Teetime about the mother.

Teetime Thu 05-Mar-20 09:24:55

I really enjoy it but Nicola Walkers constant twitching annoys me and she is so miserable why is anyone panting with lust for her? I'd like more story lines with her mother in- a much more interesting character and actor.
I wonder why we think monogamy is the only way to be?

BlueBelle Thu 05-Mar-20 05:08:02

grannyrebel it’s not you know it’s like going to the cinema
I only watched the first one and didn’t like any of the characters not even Nicola Walker who I love as an actress but I think come the weekend I ll give it another try with a binge and see if I can get into it

Grandma2213 Thu 05-Mar-20 03:39:43

I have just binge watched what I recorded up to episode 4 and have been totally drawn in. But to me it is a fantasy world. I would never have dreamed of sleeping with the man who was actually the love of my life after I married someone else. That was even though he (my ex husband) was regularly unfaithful to me. My DC have always been more important to me than any man. Maybe I am out of step with the world.

I don't do binge watching. It's like having a box of your favourite chocolates and eating them all in one go! Great series though!

Washerwoman Wed 04-Mar-20 19:59:52

Each other I mean
Where did the word diet come from ?!

Washerwoman Wed 04-Mar-20 19:58:51

I binge watched this over a couple of nights as once I started couldn't stop.Really enjoyed it and unlike so many dramas found all the characters believable. And the opening credits make me weepy as we have 3 DDs.All grown up now but like the sisters in this so different in so many ways. But always there for each diet.Would love another series.

Sparklefizz Wed 04-Mar-20 18:56:39

I'm free for Stephen, though (and very trustworthy!!!)

kittylester Tue 03-Mar-20 19:14:16

I know that sparkle but.....

Sparklefizz Tue 03-Mar-20 19:00:23

Stephen would never be able to trust her though, kittylester .... she even slept with Christie the night before her wedding. She doesn't have a good track record.

kittylester Tue 03-Mar-20 18:19:54

I'd really like Stephen Mangan and the Nicola Walker characters get back together please.

mumofmadboys Tue 03-Mar-20 18:12:11

I have just binged watched series 1 and series 2 over a few days on catch up. I loved it. Excellent acting and good insight into lawyers lives in family law for the rich!

Kalu Tue 03-Mar-20 16:25:14

Go for it Brunette and I hope you enjoy every minute of spoiling yourself. Not many get a pat on the back for self deprivation?

Brunette10 Tue 03-Mar-20 15:09:18

Yes Kalu I also thought Stephen played an excellent role. Also like Mother and 2 sisters. Love the outfits too they all wear. I’ve made my mind up, I’m not going to deprive myself any longer, why should I wink will get on with it.
