Thanks for the heads up on this travelsafar, I listened to them on cd years ago and enjoyed them very much. Seeing photos as well should be really interesting.

I had seen this first time round but enjoyed it just as much watching it again. Love Alan Bennet and could have listened to him for hours.

Same here; I missed it first time round and caught a bit of it the other day and resolved to watch all of it. Mind you, I'm ploughing my way through Merlin at the moment, something that, for some reason, I never got to see when it first aired.

If you enjoy something different try the above. It is the gentle
ramblings of the brilliant author and playwright. It is interesting and funny in places with Alan's dry humour. Lots of photos of him and his parents and stories from his youth. I loved it. smile
