Grittier it was, also more love interest for Dr Varna.

That baby! ❤️

It's supposed to be getting grittier. Brace yourselves. ☺️

I only learnt there was to be a new series on Saturday - I was so happy watching it on Sunday. It’s just lovely, soothing tv. And Dr Varna is sooooooo gorgeous to look at! grin

Yes Silverlinings48 it is filmed in Sri Lanka, I really enjoy the hour of escapism.

Think it’s recorded in Sri Lanka. Yes a bit of light relief always helps.

Love it.

Despite the dirt and poverty it always looks so bright and cheerful. It definitely lifts the spirits. The patients all seem quite contented to just sit around waiting in that hospital while the staff chat and make eyes at each other. But no-one minds, they are just pleased to be in such a happy place!

I like the bright splash of colour and sunshine. It's a bit odd but quite enjoyable on a Sunday evening.

It's just what we need at the moment.

I always enjoy it, glad it's back.

New series of this. It’s typical Sunday night viewing, but with all the doom and gloom in real life, a pleasant way to spend an hour.
