Killing Eve & Dead to me on Netflix, & last episode of Trigonometry.

We've been re-watching all series of Line of Duty. I think tonight we'll be finishing off series 4 with the last two episodes. Totally brilliant series. Our planner also has numerous episodes of Morse, Lewis, Endeavor and M Murders if we just need to watch without thinking too much.

I can also recommend Unorthodox on Netflix and I agree the lead actress is amazing.

I watched Becoming on Netflix, following Michelle Obama touring to promote her book. It will be tonight’s listening on Audible.

I love the Sewing Bee too and I loved the smocked dress. I had one when I was a little girl and wore it and wore it until one day I was sitting on the floor with my knees up and covered by my dress. I pulled my dress down and my knees went straight through the material, I cried so much, my Mum consoled me and said it was an accident but I never got another one.

I thought that Rhod Gilbert episode was brilliant. Yes he was apprehensive to begin with then he learned to focus on the patients and had great rapport with them. Great episode, you could tell he learned a lot from the experience.

Rhod Gilbert almost had me in tears by the end! He started even more jokey than normal, from nerves I think, but ended very differently.

The repair shop and then Medici the Magnificent on Netflix. The latter is full of intrigue as you would expect but it also gives you some fantastic Tuscan countryside to enjoy as an added bonus.

I agree that Britain’s Greatest Generation is wonderful. We caught up with it yesterday. It’s just so moving.

I enjoyed the Sewing Bee last night. I used to love hand-smocking and embroidering my girls’ party dresses. Sadly I don’t think any of the five DGS would appreciate my talents.

Britain’s Greatest Generation on 2.
I’m in tears. It should be compulsory viewing for today’s generation. Seeing one of these amazing servicemen wearing the ‘Gunners’ (Royal Artillery) tie was just too much. I still have my Dad’s tucked away in my sock drawer. Very emotional especially this week

Hi, Sar53, I thoroughly enjoyed The Spy, I didn't realise that Sacha Baron Cohen did straight acting. I remembered him as Ali G., but he was excellent in the lead role.
If you liked Spooks, 24, Homeland, Bridge of Spies, it's worth a watch.

I'm now watching Season 2 of Manifest on Netflix. If you liked Lost, you might enjoy this.

Thank you for the recommendation, Puzzler61. We enjoyed The A Word. We’re still untangling who’s who, but I’m sure we’ll get there.

We have recently joined Netflix and have watched The Spy, based on a true story, well worth watching. We have now started The Stranger, lots of good actors, set in GB and, so far, very watchable.
I will be watching The A Word, I thoroughly enjoyed the first two series.

The actress in Unorthodox is amazing. It’s like watching a documentary.

A lot of people have said how good Unorthodox is, shame I cancelled my Netflix subs.

I really like The A Word. It's an excellent series, there are some changes this time I understand. Won't spoil anything now though.

Started watching Unorthodox on Netflix last night and watched 3 episodes and there's only 4. It's in Yiddish mainly with subtitles but I found it riveting.

I’ve watched all previous eps of A Word Maggiemaybe and have found it absorbing and heart wrenching at times. The little boy who plays Joe (well not so little now) is a brilliant actor.
Give it a try I’d say.
I hope this series is as well made as the last.

We might try The A Word tonight. We didn’t watch the first two series, but I saw some good reviews. Is anyone watching Innocence? I do like a series that’s on on consecutive days, so was wondering whether to try it.
