Thank goodness it’s recorded in advance. Would really miss my Casualty fix

Can you imagine it - you're in dire need and the staff are discussing their personal lives over the top of your head and skiving off into quiet corners to discuss personal problems.

Yes, the current Doctors episodes, which began in September were obviously filmed in the Spring - so many Daffs out there. So, we would have our usual long break at Christmas and New Year, and they will probably try to do some intensive filming of new episodes when things start to return to something vaguely like normal.

I think they film 4 months ahead so there are still lots of episodes to see. Then thre are the Classic Holby and Casualty on in the mornings

easybee the Jimmie story is getting a bit tedious now isn't it.
I watch it every day whilst having my coffee and sarni.

Trisher - something to aspire to grin
(Are you implying they’re not real? Not real doctors or nurses?) ???

eazybee Wed 18-Mar-20 17:43:20

What! No Doctors? Love it.
The staff have so much time for their patients, and how much longer is Jimmi Clay going to spend mouldering in prison?

Yes they do seem to have a lot of personal issues in Holby at the moment. Some staff spend an inordinate amount of time on the stairs I agree Jane10
What will Fletch do about Charlie now, these and many other questions remain unanswered.

Jane10 Wed 18-Mar-20 17:17:32

Don't think I'd like to be a patient in Holby. Staff too busy with personal problems to cope with the patients.
Might get a seat in the Vic though.

Of course MawB and all the doctors and nurses will be redeployed. You will be able to have a signed respirator if you want one!

MawB Wed 18-Mar-20 17:12:55

Sorry Holby City of course.

I have just read that filming on the above programmes is stopping.
I imagine it would be hard to show at least the first three without mentioning Covid19. And Eastenders with an empty Vic and everybody on lockdown would not provide much of a storyline
Somehow that appeals to my possibly questionable sense of humour - will the facilities of those programmes now be made available to the NHS?
