Thanks for this, have just watched it on catch up. So nice to hear the old songs, some of the lesser known ones haven’t heard for ages.
Annoying thing is, really liked one that was played, now can’t recall what it was! Will have to whizz through again and find it.
Made me feel quite nostalgic and a bit sad especially now, the world seemed so much simpler then.

We found this gem while searching for something/anything of interest. Memories came flooding back, what we wore particularly, and I had forgotten how smart the boys looked in those days. Nostalgia for a special time, growing up in the 60's, we were so lucky, we just didn't realise it at the time! A really lovely trip down memory lane, we both enjoyed it so much. Married at 20, I felt that age again! grin

Great wasn't it? I'd forgotten how much like Cathy McGowan I managed to look in those days! Can't believe she's 77 (I'm a mere 73) I had never realised she was so much older than Michael Ball.

We had a (self isolating) WhatsApp party watching it Sheena. Eight ladies of a certain age transported back to the heady days of Biba and bobs with a sublime soundtrack. Weren't we luckysmile

Did anyone by chance see this documentary last Saturday on BBC 4 ? I remember watching it every Friday .. oh how I loved it.... and then got hooked on Top of the Pops.

The documentary brought back so many fab memories.. the groups and singers and oh how young they all looked ( and some of them oh so old now !!) ..... took me right back to me yoof !!

Loved the fashions and the hair ( I was most definitely a Mod ) ... I kept saying "oh I had a dress like that" or "oh I had my hair like that" .. my husband's eyes started to glaze over grin .
