I must admit we particularly enjoyed the programmes presented by Adam, he has improved in his style over the years, perhaps he is more relaxed. I was told that Frances does very little work on her allotment, it is all prepared in advance - comparing her clothes with mine when gardening, I can well believe it! I would like it so much if each person admitted to having help, and thanked the whole team, instead of pretending to do it all alone!

Love Monty's new dog, Pattie. I do miss my gardening companion, Millie. Her daughter Peggy is good fun but loves to chase tractors so we have to keep an eye on her.

I don’t think either Monty or Adam are condescending or aloof, even though I do think Monty is posh!
Nothing wrong with him being posh, it’s just how he comes across to me.

I do like and enjoy what Adam brings to the programme. Like to see more of Carol.

Anyone who is interested in learning about Monty's background, marriage, past business failure and fightback from depression should read 'The Jewel Garden.'

It's a wonderful, uplifting story of love, determination, hard work and a passion for gardening which became his second and subsequently very successful career.

My 'go to' book during the dark days of winter and if I weren't so busy in my own garden at the moment I'd be reading it again for some comfort in these challenging times.

Monty isn’t posh? He just strikes me as an ordinary bloke. Why do you think he is posh?

I could watch GW all day long! Monty and Adam both have a special way of including the viewer in all that they're doing. Neither of them come across as condescending or aloof at all!

Love Gardeners World. I look forward to it, a lovely programme at the end of the week. Monty is a wonderful presenter, the others are good but Monty holds it all together. It matters not to me whether he is ‘posh’ or not. I don’t see that as remotely relevant. It’s his expertise that is important and his gentle presenting style. Long may it continue.

We visited Geoff Hamilton’s when we were in the area a few years ago. It was so nostalgic as I could remember all the different gardens he created.

What I like so much about the presenters are that they all seem so gentle and calm. It shows how gardening is good for your mental health.

As I have been spending less recently, I thought I would search on line for one of those heart-shaped trowels that Monty and Adam use, and treat myself. I only managed to find one of the longer handled ones, on the manufacturer's site (Sneeboer) only to find on checkout that they are closed at the moment. I left it in my basket, hoping they will notify me when I can proceed. I will have 100s of plants to put out after the risk of frost, and was looking forward to trying it out.

We have more than enough about the Coronavirus everywhere else (except Ambridge) and as we do not have any idea about how long the country will remain in lockdown, to focus on planting (or digging for victory) could pall very quickly. I like the way they acknowledge how things are, but of course they are very different at Longmeadow from any inner city high rise (or even suburban garden)
For me GW is a refreshingly sane glimpse of normality.

Love GW, love Monty etc, love Adam and cats but LOVED Geoff Hamilton. I can remember exactly where I was when he died - off to visit Inverewe Gardens ...

Love Gardeners World ,used to watch it with my parents before I got married,I always liked Geoff Hamilton who I believe trained Adam Frost when he first started out.It seems a bit of normality in such surreal times .

I much prefer to watch Monty as I just prefer his style of presenting plus seeing Nigel and Nellie is a bonus.

The last thing I want any mention of when viewing some light entertainment is anything alluding to Covid19. Trying to escape too much info. overload and I can find any gardening tips/ideas on line.

I agree Calendargirl, it was a lovely programme, and he had a very calm presenting style,,which was relaxing.

Just been watching tonight’s episode. Adam Frost is growing on me (no pun intended).
He seems a bit more ordinary than Monty, not so posh, and developing well as a presenter, and a very hands on gardener. The cats are a change.
Frances always seems very good also.

I am very disappointed with Gardener's World. No mention of coronavirus. Lots of people are wanting to sow and grow their own at the moment and it would be an ideal time to give advice on how to do it and what is best to sow.

I agree that Adam Frost’s walled garden is really beautiful.

Adam Frost is tipped as the one to take over from Monty when he finally decides to hang up his spade.

I thought the filming technique was different - shots taken from further away of course, and voice-over sequences. He must be at high risk having had a stroke,but he did promise they would do their best to continue, and he was being very tactful referring to 'these difficult times' rather than actually naming the cause.

I'd go mad having to water all those pots. She said it took two hours every evening.

Her garden did look stunning though.

We're all off to Adam Frost's next week. Not keen on him as a presenter but I love his stately pad and garden.

You are right about showing older programmes. I am watching A-Z of gardening, which uses lots of old Gardeners World clips. It is really enjoyable.
