It's good to watch something as ridiculous as this in these worrying times. It amuses me, watching their childish antics, it's very slap-stick entertainment.

We’re enjoying it,just not taking it too seriously. Enjoyed seeing his American home, with his mum there keeping it real.

I haven’t watched any of it so far. I think I’ll give it a go ?

Gillybob, it just says you like different things to me. As is often said, it would be a dull world if we were all the same.

Despite my comments upthread, I used to love Top Gear in its early days.

I looked after two grandsons aged 9 and 7 after school and we'd watch repeats, laughing at their antics. Once TG had run its course I lost interest in the new version.

Putting two chefs and a front of house bloke together with their towering egos draws comparisons because of their childish behaviour which they managed to temper in the first series.

It's been done before so comes across as self indulgent and boring.

... I firmly believe that Gino exaggerates his accent ...

I've been saying that for ages! It has become more pronounced with each passing year.

Not watched it. Don't really like any of them

I used to like Top Gear though!

I wouldn't mind him slipping me one.
Innuendo, obviously.

I haven't watched the programme; I think they'd get on my nerves.

I don't have much time for those three p, and I firmly believe that Gino exaggerates his accent, and pretends that he doesn't know English and purposely slips in a few innuendos. Not for me.

Well I love it . So there. What does that say about me ?

ginny Sat 11-Apr-20 23:04:15

Another group of silly schoolboys . Similar to the ones that are or were on Top Gear.

Gingster Sat 11-Apr-20 19:53:01

Three silly dopes getting paid a lot of money for showing off. Wouldn’t watch it.

My husband loves it, roars with laughter at their behaviour.
I agree Merlot it's as childish as Top Gear.

I really don't like Gordon Ramsey so definitely not watching it!

We watched the first episode and got fed up with the childish behaviour so haven't bothered with the second. It's just Top Gear with food.

The first series was much better.

Yes, I thought it was amusing. A group of naughty school boys and his mum was a good sport. I will have to look for the first series, thank you.

BBbevan Sat 11-Apr-20 17:44:44

No, can’t stand Gordon Ramsey

Judy54 Sat 11-Apr-20 17:33:15

Oh yes I did see that series too *POGS" and really enjoyed it. Especially all the stunning scenery.

POGS Sat 11-Apr-20 17:19:37

Did you watch the first series Judy?

If not can I say if you find this series OK then the first one will be worth a viewing. They concentrated on Scotland, France and Italy.

I have been watching Gordon, Gino and Fred's road trip in America. If you can ignore the swearing they are quite humorous together. The one I liked was when Gordon had his Mum staying at his house in Los Angeles. Gino and Fred had gone sightseeing and Gordon was preparing a meal. Taste that Mum no she said I don't like it, well how about this, no I don't like that either. It's only Worcestershire sauce Mum. The doorbell rings and Gordon says that will be Gino and Fred to which Mum immediately says "and watch your manners". Gordon Ramsey may be a well know Chef but only a Mother could talk to their grown up Son like that. Hilarious!
