It’s on Netflix, about a virus spread from China via a bat ( and a pig).
It was made in 2011, but weird to hear talk of ‘ social distancing’, as well as urging hand washing etc.

I've seen it. Quite good, actually.

I wanted to watch it the other evening but Mr. S. didn't want too. Is it good enough to warrant a bit of arm twisting?

It was okay, but I was mostly watching for references which could apply today!

Yes, I’ve seen it some time ago.

Yes, it is very interesting bearing in mind the times we are now living through, there were lots of references. It has been known for a century that it was only when, not if, we have another global pandemic. Just think in 10 or 50 years time they will make a film titled '2020 - A Year to Forget'
or something like that

Yes, it was on one of the ITV channels a few weeks ago, probably around lockdown time, and I watched it with interest.
Thought it was quite spooky given what's happening right now ... and it was described as sci-fi! hmm

No, but I do remember one called, I think “Outbreak” which presaged the Ebola epidemic some years later. Scary.

I certainly did - a bit spooky for me considering what we are all going through just now. Enjoyable enough though.

It's on Netflix if anyone wants to see it

I don't think I've seen it. I vaguely remember "Outbreak", but mostly I keep having flashbacks to "12 Monkeys" as I was passing through an airport back at the beginning of March when things were only just starting.

We watched it last night and were amazed at how predictive it was. If I had watched it before Covid19, I would not have thought it could really happen. How things have changed in the last few months.
