For Downton fans

Am really enjoying this the second time around.Downton village scenes are filmed in a village near me which adds an extra sparkle.The cottage hospital is actually the library. The dresses and hairdos and interior scenes ( upstairs) are wonderful, but imagine changing for dinner every evening and having to pull on gloves ( as well as being well corseted, even when slim.)

My favourite viewing at the moment. It is also featuring in my dreams!

I’ve been enjoying the Downton repeats. Such a pleasant way to while away an hour or so after the always depressing 6 o’clock news.

What a madam Lady Mary is, and after seeing Miss O’ Brian making a fool of the new housemaid on two occasions, really think Carson should have sorted her out for bullying.

A load of tosh, but nice to re-visit.
