I'm watching it too, MawB!

This McEnroe/Borg match was quite incredible. I remember watching it at the time. But Borg used to annoy me. He was so robotic. Hardly ever showed any emotion no matter what was happening. Brilliant player though. Ice man was his nickname and very apt

And yes, you're right about the clothing.

I've been going on and off for over 50 years now. Just love it.

The men's shorts being another thing! They were so tiny! They don't look very comfortable at all.

I am watching “Wimbledon’s Greatest Finals” and wonder if anybody would agree with me that the Centre Court spectators these days, especially on Men’s Finals day, dress up much more than in the 80’s?
Is that down to Corporate hospitality, the social “kudos” of getting tickets? Perhaps it is, like the Grand National or the Derby seen as more of a day out rather than just a sporting occasion.
To me this is the antithesis of today’s more casual dress to all sorts of events
Borg and McEnroe looked pretty scruffy with all that hair too!
