It was amazing. Those brave people! And Sandi Toksvig was so caring. It made me cry watching their struggles and successes.

Settled down with a cuppa and thought it would cheer up a grey day to watch something inspiring. There were tears streaming down my face at times but it’s the best thing I have watched in a long time.

I don’t know if anyone else has watched this channel 4 programme, but it’s the most inspiring thing I’ve ever seen on TV. Seeing the determination of these brave men and women address their literacy issues, grow in confidence and ability is so inspiring, I’ve just watched the final programme and I’ve just been filled with so much admiration for the participants. Worth a watch if you haven’t seen it.
