Gladiator
Dracula (with Gary Oldman)
Batman Trilogy - directed by Christopher Nolan (cheating I know...)

So many of those already mentioned.....

An Affair to Remember

Brief Encounter

Oliver!

Mary Poppins

Pretty Woman

Mrs Doubtfire

I Remember Mama - a very old black & white film that probably no-one else has heard of, about an immigrant family living in America. It's funny, sad, heartwarming and has the seasonal feelgood factor. I remember watching it as a child and would love to find it on DVD.
