Loved it, a really enjoyable, gentle watch.

I'm saving it for Christmas day before Call the Midwife!

We love it as it’s so heart warming and lifts your spirit. I really enjoyed the original series too.

OH started off with his newspaper firmly blocking his view of the screen but gradually it came down.

I was unsure about remaking a new series but it’s been excellent and some much needed light relief.

OH, who is Mr Grinch to a tee this year, absolutely loved it! Fortunately we recorded it and started watching from around 9.40 pm so we could skip the adverts.

Delightful escapism, definitely worth watching.

I enjoyed it as well, sometimes we just need something sentimental and cosy. I loved the puppies too grannyrebel

Oh I absolutely loved it. The scene with the puppies being born was so moving. It's the best thing I've seen on TV for ages, so well written and acted. The characterisation is perfect too and dare I say it, better than the original series. Roll on the new series that'sall I can say.

Oh travelsafar, it was positively delightful! Everything you mentioned was portrayed so gently. You're right about feeling all warm and cosy.
Don't forget the lovely children and the donkey too!

Er......Wedding?

Oh wow anyone wanting a dose of Christmas i highly recommend last night's episode. It left me feeling all warm and cosy and full of nostalgia. The gathering on Xmas Eve, the Midnight mass, birth of puppies, the festive fare, roaring fires and board games, and of course the wedding. Go on indulge yourself. smile
