Is anyone else watching it? Looks interesting.

Merlotgran, I have higher hopes but yes, reflections of keeping faith
I can’t imagine being bored with Keeley Hawes, she’s an actor and a very good one.
I loved her parents in Alice. The suggestion from episode 1 is she had a middle class upbringing. He didn’t. His parents have promise

It reminds me a bit of the Welsh drama Keeping Faith where the husband is not all he seems and the wife's domestic life is chaotic.

Crossed with Ab Fab! grin

Trying to decide whether to watch this. Just watched all of the Durrell series and might be a bit overloaded on Keeley H.

Calendargirl Mon 18-Jan-21 11:39:02

I will probably watch it on ITV hub, but stuck with The Serpent last night.

Knittynatter Mon 18-Jan-21 11:13:58

I’ve just finished episode 4 and am really enjoying it!

rockgran Mon 18-Jan-21 11:06:51

I binge watched 4 episodes ...really hooked.

henetha Mon 18-Jan-21 10:59:57

I liked it enough to stick with it, definitely.

eazybee Mon 18-Jan-21 10:58:55

I enjoyed the dark humour; Keeley Hawes and the rest of the cast played it superbly. Looking forward to the next episode.

I watched the first episode and thought it rather silly, but think it is meant to be humorous. When it came to the final scene with the young man at the door I just had to watch the beginning of the next one and fear I shall be tempted to keep going over the next few days.

tanith Mon 18-Jan-21 09:41:28

I liked it a bit of black humour and Keeley Hawes I’ll watch the rest I think.

Charleygirl5 Mon 18-Jan-21 09:24:33

I am not sure whether I will be watching all of the six episodes or not. I cannot stand Joanna Lumley which does not help. I agree, I also prefer watching three consecutive nights but 6 on the trot would be too much.

It is a tad strange if he has willed the house to his parents and left Keeley homeless.

Hoitytoity Mon 18-Jan-21 09:17:28

I couldn't hack it for long. The parents of the deceased are portrayed as doddery idiots which irritated me. Plus I'm sorry to say it I've had a bit too much of Keeley (not her husband though..)

Pittcity Mon 18-Jan-21 09:13:44

I think the mortuary man will feature.

sodapop Mon 18-Jan-21 09:11:17

I could just imagine myself in that house being totally useless with the technology. There were some funny moments and several threads waiting to be pulled together. I shall continue to watch, I prefer the three consecutive night programming to weekly slots as it takes me a while to catch up again.

I've recorded so can avoid adverts. Must admit I'm wary of ITV dramas that are full of promise they dont fulfil!

Iam64 Mon 18-Jan-21 09:04:24

Great cast and very interesting plot line tonight.

Kate54 Mon 18-Jan-21 08:52:07

Intriguing (just about) but we were annoyed when the hospital receptionist directed Keeley to the ‘morgue’. Think she meant the mortuary.Obviously designed for American audiences. Annoying!

Pittcity Mon 18-Jan-21 08:41:07

Don't think I'll binge watch as there are too many ads on ITV hub and I'm not paying to remove them!

merlotgran Sun 17-Jan-21 22:47:18

Very good. Great cast.

sue421 Sun 17-Jan-21 22:45:55

Didnt get it, turned off after mortuary staff was rude. Stairs would not have p
assed health and safety.. just annoyed me

Gwyneth Sun 17-Jan-21 22:45:51

I enjoyed it. It is meant to be a dark comedy and I do like Keeley Hawes so look forward to watching again next week.

GardenerGran Sun 17-Jan-21 22:45:43

Finding Alice? Finding it very annoying. Won’t be watching any more.

Grannynannywanny Sun 17-Jan-21 22:40:09

Well it lured me in and I’m going to keep watching. I just need to resist the temptation now to binge watch it before next weekend.

JanetG Sun 17-Jan-21 22:38:09

Oh no! Havers
