Good to see the new series of this. Looks promising.

Nicola Walker looking as miserable as ever, but I don’t suppose she had a lot to look happy about really.

Several back stories going on behind the obvious suspects.

I loved that bit in the interview room, when that DCI tried to pull rank by saying ‘I’m disappointed in you’ to the detective played by Nicola Walker (can’t remember her name now oh dear, it’s late) and she turned the tables when the answers were proven to be lies - ‘I’m disappointed in you DCI ..’.

Stellar!

Wow this is the best drama I m thoroughly enjoying it what an ending tonight I didn’t see that coming
I don’t see why we can’t discuss it Atqui if anyone isn’t watching it yet they would be daft to come on a thread about it wouldn’t they surely ?
If I didn’t want to read anything that could give something away I wouldn’t go on a thread where they were talking about it
I really jumped at that ending I do like Nicola Walkers acting

Urmstongran Mon 22-Mar-21 22:45:07

Yes it’s difficult Atqui isn’t it? A half-discussion waiting for the catcher uppers! When we’d like to let rip and discuss our thoughts.
?

My favourite series too Terribull (with The Terror 2nd). I won’t give any spoilers. But definitely think it was Ram what dun it. 0 - 60 remember? And gosh, what a cliffhanger of an ending! Can’t wait till the denouement next Monday.

Sheila Hancock played a smaller part than I expected. Good though isn’t she? She looks a dead ringer for my aunt. Mind you, I’ve not seen her for over 12 months. Perhaps she’s taken up acting ...

Atqui Mon 22-Mar-21 22:39:12

So how long do we have to wait before we can discuss it?

Jane43 Mon 22-Mar-21 22:38:01

Ellianne

That was a bit of a shock ending.

I had a feeling something would happen but not to that extent. I’m trying not to say too much for those who haven’t watched it yet.

Atqui Mon 22-Mar-21 22:36:36

Too obvious to be Rham??

Atqui Mon 22-Mar-21 22:35:50

Absolutely. What now??

Ellianne Mon 22-Mar-21 22:01:48

That was a bit of a shock ending.

Ah is this series 4? I am ploughing through series3 on Netflix and hadn't realised there was a new one. Doh....
Find it fascinating but depressing. All I seem to think about these days is murder.

LauraNorder Wed 17-Mar-21 16:25:57

I hadn’t watched it previously so we’ve been catching up. Series one and two were fabulous. Just started on series three and just read who the murderer is, that’ll teach me. I won’t tell Orlin I know.
I won’t come back until we’re totally up to date, just wanted to join in with the praise for a jolly good drama.

Thankyou littleflo
It’s my favourite series, but I seem to have missed bits which could be important!
I think when it’s over, I may go back and watch it from the beginning.

Parsley3 Wed 17-Mar-21 16:03:39

What a good storyline. I can’t wait to see how it is all going unravel for those characters.

TerriBull Wed 17-Mar-21 11:25:14

I watched it again last night, I know I drifted off on Monday, it's absolutely my favourite series, I love the way it unfolds and how all the strands come together. So I saw the whole episode right from the start again yesterday even though I remembered the beginning.

I think the body is in the boot because they did not intend to kill him. The pm showed a spike broken off in his skull. I think they chased him on to the allotment and he fell. I guess they panicked.

Sara1954 Wed 17-Mar-21 06:46:39

I think I may have dropped off to sleep at a crucial part, because I don’t know why the body was in the car. Love it anyway.

Urmstongran Tue 16-Mar-21 23:01:40

This series is gripping. It just gets better all the time. The net is closing in and I’ve finally gotten a proper handle on who is who! Makes a big difference when you know who the characters are.

My other good programme of the week is The Terror.

Is it just me who feels there is going to be no happy ending for Cassie and John’s relationship?

She isn’t showing much enthusiasm for his joint house hunting.

Luckylegs Fri 12-Mar-21 23:18:14

I’m enjoying it all but just having a bit of trouble (I must have looked at my iPad at the wrong moment)! How do they know that the body was in the boot of that car and that the four probationer police were in it as well? This is all 30 years ago right? Was CCTV around then? Apart from that, I’m following who is who beautifully. I’m waiting for it to get a bit more exciting tbh.

glammagran Wed 10-Mar-21 19:32:31

I’m not having problems telling the characters apart but I’m unable to remember whether the female therapist (and a suspect) was buying a commercial property for her and her partners business and a private dwelling. Not that I’m sure it matters. But thoroughly enjoying it because it not sensationalised or lurid.

Sara1954 Wed 10-Mar-21 19:08:27

I agree about the similarities between the women, I have to keep asking my daughter which one is which!

Sara1954 Wed 10-Mar-21 19:06:50

I didn’t realise it was on last night!
I’m really annoyed to miss it, but can probably get it on catch up.
I think it’s an excellent series, apart from coronation street, which I’m about twenty episodes behind, it’s the only thing I’m watching.

Luckygirl Wed 10-Mar-21 17:27:06

...or just old age.....smile

silverlining48 Wed 10-Mar-21 17:02:36

I am so pleased it’s not just me who has problems sorting out who is who. When a third woman with mid length brown hair all of a similar age appeared last night.... oh dear. I was at a loss. That’s prospagnosia for you. Think that’s the right spelling.

BlueBelle Wed 10-Mar-21 16:35:47

Brilliant I m loving it ....lasts nights was really good Starting to home in on the four ‘suspects’
I had to watch the first one twice to get the women sorted out but I m ‘ with it’ now
