Is Naga Munchetty a TV turn off?

I now turn over or off if she appears and, before the R word gets thrown at me, it’s her character and rudeness I dislike. Can’t stand her patronising tone and the way she talks over people instead of interviewing them in an unbiased professional manner.

It’s sad that all other nations honour their flags and display them in all civic offices and in far more places than ever done here. They also have pictures of their head of state hanging up for all to see. Yet in this country it’s become fair game to trash both our flag and the Queen.

The fact that there were 2 people making the jokes but the only one we're hearing about is the woman with an Asian background tells you something.

The fact that Government Ministers have obviously had a directive to have the Union Flag in their living rooms while they are making Zoom calls is quite bizarre.

The fact that the Telegraph is positioning this as being about "despising their country" tells me a lot about the attitudes shown on this forum sometimes.

People should be able to mock anything. The queen anything, I dont want to live in a country that doesnt have that freedom. It's actually part of what I love about this country.

I don’t mind her on tv as I can switch her off when she gets too arrogant and sneery.
I’m not sure I’d like her in real life though.

She’s incredibly rude and arrogant. She was unbearable to Matt Tebbutt on Saturday Kitchen.

I really like her. Having said that, I’ve only watched her a dozen times. On those occasions she seemed pleasant, supportive of her guests and very upbeat.
Unaware of what she’s accused of - maybe having a bad day?

The fact that people think someone should be reprimanded for liking a tweet is terrifying to be honest.

It certainly is.

Sarnia
It’s what the bbc does. Mock our flag, our queen, in fact anything that doesn’t fit their left wing mindset.

She’s an extremely arrogant woman.

I don't watch much daytime tv but I have always found her fine

Did Robert Jenrick actually cry though? He always looks like he is about to burst into tears.

It’s a shame she isn’t more professional and keep her unpleasant comments to herself - not live, not on social media, but private!

I am finding Naga Munchetty increasingly rude. She asks a guest a question then doesn't always have the manners to allow them to reply. She butts in or shouts over them. Her comments and tone of voice are often patronising. Her latest performance was to poke fun at Robert Jenrick's Union Jack flag and the photograph of our Queen. She even went the extra mile by liking tweets about it. Her lukewarm 'apology' is clearly not made from her own conscience but from a ticking off she has received from her bosses.
