Anyone else just watched this on Channel 5? Another drama over four successive nights.

I have a sneaking feeling it will end up like that recent Jill Halfpenny one, or the one a while ago set in Ireland, about a dead author wife and the widower’s new girlfriend.

So memorable I cannot recall the titles!

Oh, and I forgot to grumble about the Family Liaison Officer. Would the same one really be appointed to both families? Plus if anyone spoke to me with a robotic delivery in an emotive situation like that, I would have her out of the door faster than she could say Family Liaison Officer ...

Sally Lindsay always sounds like that, whatever role she’s playing.

I can only imagine we are being led up the garden path, and nothing is as it seems, the viewer is being deceived. I’m expecting fireworks in the next two episodes.

Oh I didn’t like the drowning and am underwhelmed by the Intruder, very disappointing,

No idea what's going on in The Intruder.

I shall watch tonight but no doubt I'll be just as clueless

What an awful bunch of characters they all are

I don't care what happens to any of them

I’m still sticking with it but my goodness it really isn’t good.
Usually like Sally Lindsay but how badly cast is she. I wouldn’t want her as a liaison officer. Weak and watery!
There have been some stinkers lately .... Finding Alice, The drowning, and now this one. Very disappointing!

I really don’t know why I’m doing this to myself, but I’ll be watching tonight more in hope than expectation of it having a decent ending. I really should know better, after Finding Alice and The Drowning!

The plot and acting in this one has been so bad, it’s in danger of being a classic comedy.

I've given up. Watched the first episode and thought it was a bit silly. Watched half the second and wished somebody would murder them all. The police are obviously corrupt and in the drug baron's power. But surely the newspaper and TV people would have been all over this.

Tim Dynevor is the actor and writer Husband of Sally Dynevor Corrie star. He also writes for Emmerdale and that's why there is so much copying of storylines I think.

trisher same, watched the first, mentally signed off. DH has watched the rest while I read, resisting making comment!

Four wasted hours. What a load of garbage.

Gannygangan Thu 08-Apr-21 22:47:11

Absolute nonsense. Pointless. Pathetic. The acting was appalling. Nothing made sense.

And I watched it!

silverlining48 Thu 08-Apr-21 22:55:25

I have to agree what a waste of time ( it’s lucky ? I have a lot of it at present). Nonetheless wish I had not ? bothered.

BlueBelle Thu 08-Apr-21 22:58:42

Not the best was it ?

Delila Thu 08-Apr-21 23:53:18

Truly awful - cheap and nasty.

Gingster Fri 09-Apr-21 08:50:31

What a waste of 4 nights viewing! Dreadful!

henetha Fri 09-Apr-21 11:07:48

I bet it won't win a BAFTA

tiredoldwoman Fri 09-Apr-21 11:16:31

Yes, it was rubbish but I liked the ending ! She's going to haunted forever !

henetha Fri 09-Apr-21 11:21:50

Perhaps there will be a second series to see if she gets her
come-uppance grin

Delila Fri 09-Apr-21 11:23:48

Perish the thought!
