I did watch I May Destroy You, Camilla Long reviewed it in The Sunday Times and raved about it, so I thought I'd give it a go. I didn't much like at first but it grew on me as it progressed, I must admit I thought it was very different, but definitely quite Marmite, my husband scrabbling around trying to find something to watch the other night asked me if I thought he'd like it, "No! you won't" was my response. I think the writer and actress, Micheala Coel, is talented and glad she won an award.
Similarly I loved This Country glad to see Charlie Cooper got one, his sister, the wonderful Daisy Mae should have got one too.
I didn't watch the BAFTAS I can't be bothered with award ceremonies increasingly finding all the gushing. weeping not to mention sometimes awful speeches from the winners boring!
