I did not know who had made the original remark, as I said I had just come to the thread and based my comment on something someone posted quoting another post whose origin I did not know. I assume it was yours Alegrias, which I did not know at the time.
But generally, there are a lot of people now who are incompetent, unpleasant or opportunistic, that as soon as you criticise them take refuge from criticism by claiming classic victim status by saying the remarks are racist, or anti-women or some such and it is such a cheap defense and does so much damage to those who are genuinely being discriminated against because of their race, sex or gender or other unjustified reason.
As for whether anyone smiled or not walking down the aisle, I do not know because I didn't see any tv footage of the marriage of H &M. Not my kind of viewing.
