So, fellow fans, what do we think of the lineup? A very mixed bunch, personally only know of five, I’m sure we will soon have our favourites. Can’t wait for the glitz and glamour to brighten the long dark nights looming?

lemsip Sun 21-Nov-21 20:14:05

tom never improved his head and shoulder stance in this dance and needed to go......

Sweetpeasue Sun 21-Nov-21 20:11:24

Josianne

Rhys deserved to go through.
Tom and Amy were a lovely partnership.

They really were*Josianne *

Sweetpeasue Sun 21-Nov-21 20:09:15

Very sorry indeed to see Tom go but equally glad that Rhys went through. I think it's so disappointing when the weakest contenders , I believe, were Dan and Tilly. Do hope Dan's fans won't keep him in next week or the opportunity to watch the best dancers will be denied.

Very sorry to see Tom go and equally sorry to think there is yet another week of Tilly galumphing round the dance floor.

Deeply suspicious.

Keeleklogger Sun 21-Nov-21 18:09:21

Tom to go tonight is my prediction, after a dance off with Rhys.

I have to say that regardless of what anyone says- you have to love Rose and Giovanni!

I think they are the winners, can’t see anybody close to them

Mollygo Sun 21-Nov-21 17:36:12

Keeleklogger I was surprised by the 9, but he didn’t make any mistakes. I’m often bewildered by the marks -especially when the feedback is all about errors and the marks given are high.

Keeleklogger Sun 21-Nov-21 17:22:52

Dan Walker was given a 9 yesterday by Shirley Ballass, the same score she gave Rose, really!!! Biased much

rafichagran Sun 21-Nov-21 16:16:09

I dont look for technique, just what I enjoy, I love Rhys and Nancy and think they look amazing together.
Peoples opinions differ on who they like, so it's up to the judges to point out any faults.

Dinahmo Sun 21-Nov-21 16:11:30

Tilly's dance did not deserve 40. It was OK but the choreography wasn't that good. Don't understand why she gets the high marks.

annodomini Sun 21-Nov-21 14:53:35

Tilly's dance was impeccably performed and did 'what it said on the tin', but it didn't move me - or anyone else, according to this thread. No doubt she will avoid the dance off this time...but next time? I think she could have shot her bolt.
I would love to see more of Cynthia, but not as a judge. As she has mostly been a stage performer, it's not surprising we haven't seen her on screen.
As for Motsi's hair! Don't worry about those ponies. I'm sure she had a vast number of acrylic weaves which must have taken many hours to attach.
Although Dan did achieve his 30 mark, and hasn't been seen in the dance off hitherto, it looks as if he might be there tonight as everyone else was better. Who know what's in the minds of the public voters?
Meanwhile: Get well soon, Craig!

Sparklefizz

Who do you think will be in the dance off?
I think Tom for one, not sure who else.

Yes, as I said earlier Tom, but reading several comments on here and agreeing with them, I think maybe John and Johannes.
As someone else said it’s difficult not to watch Johannes as he is a fabulous dancer. That is the problem Tillytrotter, even slightly in the professional group dances he stands out. And we spoke about too much mirroring with J & J even last week so perhaps it will be them.

eazybee Sun 21-Nov-21 13:47:17

I am very suspicious of the far- too-high marks given to Tilly. Why? She seems a pleasant girl and she is a good performer, but not a dancer.
I agree about John and Johannes; John seems to be flagging and Johannes is behaving as a solo performer, not the supporting leg.
Best bit last week(apart from R&G): Miranda Hart's instructions; even The Phantom couldn't outclass her.

Sweetpeasue Sun 21-Nov-21 13:33:33

Tilly's improved quite a lot, and she is lovely, but I think she may be in the dance off and Tom. I think it should certainly be Dan but he's such a solid fan base he could get through.
I'd certainly like the others to go through.

MerylStreep Sun 21-Nov-21 10:43:10

I too think John and Johannes have peaked. Same old, same old. It always looks as if johannes is in a dance off with John.
I think there’s a little bit of the green eyed monster because John has done so well.

TillyTrotter Sun 21-Nov-21 10:11:47

I hope some of the voters who were voting for Sara who left last week, may have voted for Tilly instead this week.
She doesn’t not deserve to be in the dance off - but we know she has been twice before, so she must be a possible.
I really don’t know who else will be.
I agree with Charley if a mistake is noticed then the dance should not be awarded a 10.
John has become a great dancer but I wish Johannes could show John’s performance off and not eclipse him.
As someone else said it’s difficult not to watch Johannes as he is a fabulous dancer.

Charleygirl5 Sun 21-Nov-21 10:05:15

I do not think Rose should have been given a 10 when she made a mistake or Giovanni did.

I like Rhys but I am not a fan of his partner. I feel he could have done better with somebody else. His Charleston last week was so good and the jive yesterday was not far behind.

I thought Dan did so well last night but I am aware that everybody else are better dancers but he does work hard.

I still think John and Johannes may pull it off- I think they are fabulous dancers. Musical week is my favourite.

Sparklefizz Sun 21-Nov-21 09:58:36

Lucca Sun 21-Nov-21 09:23:46

I was amazed at Tilly’s score. I just didn’t feel the dance fitted the music but there again I have no musical talent and even less dance ability!! Totally bored without Craig !!

Josianne Sun 21-Nov-21 09:21:41

I think Cynthia was honest enough to say she was basing her high marks on performance and not on technique. To me the other judges seemed to follow suit, and that is why the likes of Tilly impressed them a lot. To be fair, although stompy, Tilly and Nikita's timing was pretty perfect. I love the show Mathilda.

kissngate Sun 21-Nov-21 09:03:19

My favourite was AJ followed by Rose. No idea what they saw in Tilly it was just awful but being top of leader board will keep her out of bottom two. Thought Dan gave a good performance although not as gifted as some he did well. Does anyone else think Rhys is a better dancer than his partner? Didn't enjoy John or Tom all a bit flat.

As for Motsi's hair!! Cynthia Arivo may not be a great judge of dancing but she's in a class of her own when it comes to singing. Just fab-u-lous!

Pittcity Sun 21-Nov-21 08:41:36

Yes Calendargirl. I thought it'd be quiet without Bruno but without Craig it all falls flat!

Calendargirl Sun 21-Nov-21 07:10:50

To those of us who thought it all a bit flat tonight, the reason was…

No Craig.
