Last night of the Proms - will you watch?

We do, every year, sadly much toned down but still a landmark in the year.

This year we're at home, instead of the caravan, so I can sing along with gusto (er he always sings out of tune, that gusto)

Will you watch - and sing?

Just flipped over from the tennis for the Tango item and the accordionist is a very stylish lady! It’s described as a duet- not a solo with accordion accompaniment- and rightly too!

Watching but not enjoying it very much tbh.
We made it to Hyde Park one year. Loved it. Great memory.

I always watch The Last Night, love it. I also love the Albert Hall. Has anyone here been to the Classical Spectaculars at the Albert Hall? I`ve been 3 times, hoping to go again.

People often don’t realise that it’s only the last bit of the Last Night that is a singalong party. Before that it’s a normal serious concert. I’m watching it. Emma hasn’t started yet. When she does I’ll probably flick back and forth between the two..

I shall be watching. I was able to go to the Last Night several times in the 60s and it was always a wonderful party.
