Yes, no problem with him carrying on working, I’m just wondering if he’s actually fit to work. Plus mumbled speech isn’t ideal for an actor. Not his fault I know, but I really had to concentrate to understand what he was saying last night. Perhaps he’ll just appear occasionally now.

Ken Barlow’s ageing is realistic though, so why not have soap characters who get a bit doddery?

Did anyone notice last night that Ken Barlow’s (Bill Roache) speech was somewhat difficult to decipher? Almost slurred. Perhaps at 88 he’s getting a bit long in the tooth for acting, but I know he loves his job and doesn’t want to give it up. I had to really concentrate to catch what he was saying.

He will never leave. I think he’s the world’s longest running soap opera actor. Fewer and fewer appearances maybe, but I think he will remain part of the cast until he dies in real life.

I find the continuity completely daft. As in, Corey admitting to changing his clothes, and throwing rucksack in river. Wouldn't bonafide detectives despatch divers to find the rucksack first. Very odd progranning

I thought the Norris Cole tribute was lovely. Barbara Knox looked very tearful as she said her farewells, must be sad for the older actors to see others either die or retire. Think Thelma Barlow (Mavis) is 90 now.

No money to hire a posh barrister so it's all down to Imran. Wonder if he'll find some key info from Sabeen's place. If not, poor Toyah.

I think the charge was murder due to the intent, the kicking he took showed an intent to do serious damage so not like a fight where no one intends to cause GBH or kill but it happens.
