Freda and the implants for Aled. Now she has kidnapped the little chap to stop the operation. She comes over as the most impossibly selfish woman and I have no sympathy for her. One storyline that has disappointed.

I think the police would hve tken joseph to hospital to be checked out then questioned him i....in rel life that is

Doodledog Fri 14-Jan-22 20:25:36

Thanks. I really must start paying attention?

Calendargirl Fri 14-Jan-22 20:23:14

The hippy bloke is the market trader who supplies everyone with dodgy stuff.

Doodledog Fri 14-Jan-22 20:23:10

? You could be right!

Calendargirl Fri 14-Jan-22 20:22:19

I think Hope has a future in politics!

Doodledog Fri 14-Jan-22 20:22:10

Who is this hippy bloke? And who says 'groovy' nowadays?

I want a sensible adult to find Joseph and look after the poor lad properly. Oh, and keep him out of Hope's clutches. She's a very disturbed child.

Calendargirl Fri 14-Jan-22 20:01:41

Oh, poor little Joseph trudging along with his bags!

What a cobbled- together police appeal. And when did Bernie find time to get the money tins sorted and labelled? He’d not been missing long.

Who was looking after the quads, as parents and gran were otherwise occupied?

Franbern Fri 07-Jan-22 11:01:45

WOW! GP, non-urgent appointment on Bank Holiday Monday with less than 24 hours notice. Appt at hospital following day for tests, test results and appointment day after. Can we all please go to live on the Cobbles!!!

Sarnia Fri 07-Jan-22 09:01:40

Clawdy

But is Abi really not pregnant? Didn't she say she hadn't done a test? It was a bit of a non-story to end like that, maybe there's more to come.

Abi went round to Imran's flat and as Toyah was there gave him the all-clear under the excuse of leaving Kelly alone. I took that to mean it had all been a false alarm. Time will tell.

Aveline Thu 06-Jan-22 21:11:02

That would be like Liz McDonald. Been watching Corrie for too long? Moi?!

JaneJudge Thu 06-Jan-22 19:53:43

she might just be peri menopausal then which is much more likely in real life

Doodledog I too could never imagine Sally indulging in 'gratuitous outdoor widdling' . What a lovely phrase - made me laugh!

Aveline Thu 06-Jan-22 13:48:36

Well it's not a documentary! Don't think the writers can win really. It's either too boring or ridiculously dramatic. I'll keep watching it though.

Doodledog Thu 06-Jan-22 10:29:33

None of them are remotely professional, are they? grin

As well as Craig discussing police business, Aggie is pressurising Tim to seek treatment with the threat of telling Sally something she learnt through her work.

I hope Faye and Emma don't end up in jail - the crime rate on that street must be sky high. It seems like 90% of the residents have been in jail at one time or another. I'm guessing that it will turn out that Ted died of something else altogether, but they have still failed to report an accident.

Sarnia Thu 06-Jan-22 10:19:15

Surely Craig shouldn't be discussing Ted's case with anyone? Sarah is getting on my nerves. Her constant questioning and tantrums about Adam's previous girlfriends. She was hardly Mother Theresa herself. Bit disappointed that Abi isn't pregnant. That would have made a good storyline.

Aveline Thu 06-Jan-22 08:54:55

Lots of part timers at Roy's Rolls too.

vegansrock Thu 06-Jan-22 05:58:15

How come everybody in the street seems to get a job at the factory? It must be the last sewing factory in the U..K. not to relocate to the Far East and seems to have far more admin and office staff than machinists. Not that anyone does any actual work there.

Namsnanny Wed 05-Jan-22 22:50:43

Chess on Corrie is like everything else on Corrie, sped up.
We'll be watching next weeks episodes yesterday soon grin.

I still love Sam.

NotTooOld Wed 05-Jan-22 22:25:19

What's this about Tim's wallet having a condom in it? I must have missed that.
This great friendship between Sarah and Lydia does not ring true at all, seems a bit weird to me.
Roy and Mary play a very fast game of chess. Most chess players need half an hour of thinking time between moves in my experience.

BlueBelle Wed 05-Jan-22 22:10:59

Harry’s in the bedroom playing with Bertie they ll come down when they start school

pinkprincess Wed 05-Jan-22 21:34:40

I have just said the same thing about Sarah wanting a baby to my granddaughter vegansrock
She seems to have completely forgotten about Harry as no one ever sees him, and it looks like Bethany has never existed.
Ditto the fathers of her children. She seems to go from one man to another at the drop of a hat.

Aveline Wed 05-Jan-22 21:30:05

Martin Platt was a nurse too.

lemsip Wed 05-Jan-22 21:26:47

Yes, marcus was Sean's boyfriend back then

Marcus Dent was a midwife who dated Sean Tully on and off from 2007 to 2012.

Namsnanny Wed 05-Jan-22 21:06:17

Marcus? I dont remember him. Do you mean Martin, Gails husband? I liked him and hoped he would return someday.
