I still don't know who was dressed as the ghost at the end of Wednesday's episode. I think Ray Crosby is under that costume. He organised the sinkhole in David's garden when he was planning to buy up the houses in Coronation Street for one of his dodgy schemes, so perhaps he has come back to see the residents' get their just desserts.

All that was missing from Johnny and Jenny’s final scene was the Titanic movie theme tune.

Well!!! I've just sat and laughed myself silly over the antics of Johnny and Jenny tonight. I have suspended all sense of reality and just taking it at face value now.

Johnny putting a cold wet coat around Jenny's shoulders just did for me. And then hauling himself up that ladder with her on his back - honestly.

I don't think it was meant to be funny, but I have been chortling away.

In other words they get paid whatever they write.
Its frustrating to see the holes in the plot so easily though isnt it?

What ever happens to Leanne I hope she takes that awful wig off, and rips her skirt so its wide enough to run away. Mind you tight skirt and high heels didnt stop her when she skiddadled from the Bistro. It seems she only shuffled when walking on camera?.

How come neither Abi nor Corey had any signs of injury when they got out of the hole? Why have the scriptwriters forgotten that Johnny has MS ? - it’s never mentioned and he’s walking and climbing into holes with apparent ease. Harvey gets gun tonight - Leanne won’t be able to get away or will it be Simon who takes the bullet?
