Just started watching last night thought it really good, anyone else watching this?

Tim Spall’s in it, isn’t he?
What’s it about? Thank you!

I really enjoyed it too.

It's about a Russian born Jewish inventor who is approached by MI5 to spy on his new upper class friends and the spin off stories with his daughter and young son etc. I didn't fancy it at first but was struggling to find something to watch, anyway would recommend.

I saw this in 2019 when it first came out. Loved it, but I always love Stephen Poliakoff dramas. Remember The Lost Prince, Dancing on the Edge and Close to the Enemy? I loved them all. What makes them so enjoyable to watch is his use of lighting, which I always appreciate.

Thanks for the recommendations Chestnut will look out for them.

I loved this too when it was on mainstream TV but I'm going to watch it again.

I've already seen it twice. Once when it first came out then again last year. It is extremely well done. An excellent British drama!

Maudi if you scroll down for his list of television dramas over the years you'll see plenty more. I've no idea where you can see them unless maybe on DVD. The Lost Prince was very moving, and from then on I was hooked.

Thanks Chestnut I only watch Netflix and Amazon Prime so hopefully they might come up on one of those, new films and series appear all the time.

It was on the BBC round about the same time as the equally brilliant Years and Years. BBC at it’s very best.
