tanith Mon 08-Nov-21 13:17:41

kittylester Mon 08-Nov-21 13:35:42

Going to get it on my iPad this afternoon as I was watching Angela black last night
There’s another new one starting tonight but can’t remember what it’s called

Bridie22 Mon 08-Nov-21 14:26:39

Angela is revving up bluebelle last one next week.
Close to you was the new one on C4 last night, not sure if I liked it will watch next weeks,?

Atqui Mon 08-Nov-21 14:38:09

I’m not surprised she fell down those stairs- especially if she was wearing trousers with baggy ankles!!

Bridie22 Mon 08-Nov-21 14:41:36

But did she fall or was she pushed?...admittedly the baggy trousers won't have helped ?

BlueBelle Sat 13-Nov-21 07:09:48

Well I ve watched it and enjoyed it I like Christopher Eccleston as an actor
Well it drew me in and held my attention and think it could shape up when she pulled the clothes back abd saw the scribbled words
I got a bit muddled at one point with what she was dreaming and what was happening but looking forward to the next one

I have binge watched it. Quite good, preferred it to Angela Black. Really enjoyed The Tower.

Sparklefizz Tue 16-Nov-21 11:55:59

I quite enjoyed it but there were several odd things - the scribbled words on the walls for instance, which made it confusing.

It wasn't bad but not as good as The Tower.

ginny Tue 16-Nov-21 17:29:27

We are watching it each Sunday. It is a bit confusing but I find that I have to see the rest.

Bridie22 Tue 16-Nov-21 18:27:24

I'm not enjoying this one !

annodomini Tue 16-Nov-21 19:33:25

I've been watching it on All4. Haven't reached the end yet. I found it confusing to start with but presumably that's the whole point of the plot!

BlueBelle Sun 21-Nov-21 22:01:27

Ohh that was good tonight

Atqui Sun 21-Nov-21 22:45:51

Hope the gardener doesn’t resign!!

BlueBelle Mon 22-Nov-21 05:50:58

He’s rather nice, the gardener, I I mean
What an ending of last nights episode phew ! Oh dear doesn’t bode well does it ?

Sapphire24 Mon 22-Nov-21 07:37:22

I watched it all way through on catch up. By the end everything came together, but it was a bit weird in places until you realised what were dreams and what was reality. You really need to watch it, and not be doing something else at the same time. I usually crochet whilst watching TV but it was quite impossible. I'd say it's definitely worth watching, but it's not the best drama I've seen.

Iam64 Mon 22-Nov-21 08:22:18

I thought it was far too long. A one hour drama could have told the story easily. Not a good one for Christopher Eccleston though as always, he was excellent

muse Mon 22-Nov-21 08:31:01

Binge watched it over weekend. OK but not the best drama I’ve seen. Mixed feelings about two main characters.

GrandmasueUK Sat 27-Nov-21 21:35:29

I'm on episode 4 and finding most of the characters absolutely hateful. I've read the book and quite enjoyed it but I don't remember as much profanity in the book. I think if they took the 'f' word out of each episode it would only be half an hour long! I'm no prude but every character ... really?

Lizzie72 Tue 14-Dec-21 13:50:44

*** SPOILER ALERT ***

Watched the last episode last night. So it was not clear cut? The wife did have some mental health problems / hallucinations before the fall?

If she had recovered well, how would the husband have explained the mistress / new baby?

MayBee70 Tue 14-Dec-21 15:21:51

I’ve seen bits of it when channel hopping but what I’ve seen hasn’t made me want to watch it properly. A bit disappointing for a BBC series, I think.

Namsnanny Tue 14-Dec-21 23:21:37

I think it was channel 4 Maybee70. I wasnt keen. Although Christopher Eccleston was good, but his hair or wig was pretty bad.
Nick Blood who played Thomas was very creepy, he actually made me feel unsafe when he was on screen.
But I just didnt get into it really.

MayBee70 Tue 14-Dec-21 23:59:03

Of course: it’s in the title of the thread!
