He was quite a looker when he was young and new, but now just looks ordinary.

That is the sad thing about really good looking men, they go over so quickly.

Here's an adorable picture for you, MissAdventure Admittedly he has more hair on top than on his chin!

Zoejory

I always think he's Daniel Day-Lewis

I've just googled My Left Foot and see Rufus is not Daniel at all

Not that keen on him to be honest

Too slim for me.
I like a bit of beef, (and a beard) smile
I'm sure he'll be most upset to hear that he's not my type.

Well now that you know who he is, what's your opinion MissA?

He is stunningly attractive in this. I mentioned it to DH and he said 'not again'.

??? keep him in his toes Bb

I've just googled and realised I've been thinking it was a totally different person. blush

The books are good too. I have them all on my kindle and read them, apart from the last which I'm saving for a rainy day. Not sure why.

Kate1949 Thu 18-Nov-21 23:16:29

Just me then. I can't see the attraction. Mind you, I am seeing the Optician next week.

Marydoll Thu 18-Nov-21 22:11:45

Deeda, I always pictured Guido as a balding, chunky Italian male!.

I enjoyed Zen the first time round, although not as good as Montalbano. I wish the BBC had tried filming Donna Leon's Guido Brunetti books. I thought Trevor Eve and his lovely wife would have been perfect casting but, sadly, they are too old now.

Marydoll Thu 18-Nov-21 20:02:50

He is gorgeous, Pants.
The building they use as the Questura Di Roma is across the road from my favourite Roman market. Everytime I visited the market, I hoped the gorgeous Zen, would come down the steps! Sigh....

Namsnanny Thu 18-Nov-21 19:56:34

Well I cant deny you have taste Pantglas2 Hope you have time to indulge.

Mea culpa Nansnanny - ‘‘twas me who first confessed my guilty pleasure.....and offered pistols at dawn but no one turned up!

They all moved on to pastures new or awaited my demise but my thirst remains unslaked as does my honour... alas?

Namsnanny Thu 18-Nov-21 19:15:52

On another thread about hunky stars I noticed a lot of people quite like RF (understatement, wasn't it pistols at dawn for some? grin).

So for those who might be hungering for another dose of his beautiful blue eyes, this program is on Drama at 10pm tonight
It might be on catch up if you miss it.
Enjoy grin
