I see it's started already the relentless covering of this programme. Why do news programmes feel they have to tell us about this ad nauseum. Second rate so called celebrities exposing their frailties to the world.
OK rant over what do other people think.

Thank goodness its all over. Hopefully next year they will realise enough is enough.

EllanVannin Mon 13-Dec-21 11:27:03

I've watched it on and off over the years, depending on who the contestants are/ were. Some have been hilarious, with Lady Colin Campbell springing to mind chomping all kinds of nasties. She didn't care if it snowed.
The genuine hilarity has gone I find.

put not out

Lincslass

It’s the modern form of gladiators, hideous and humiliating.

I remember when Japanese TV made similar reality programmes many years ago and we thought "who would out themselves through that?"

Now we're doing it here!

Pittcity Mon 13-Dec-21 08:46:00

The series is over and there's not been a post on this thread since November.
Does this tell the producers that people aren't interested any more?

Private ambulance, arranged by BBC? hmm

Calistemon Sun 28-Nov-21 23:08:31

Also - as others have said, how come there was an ambulance so readily available

The ambulance service in Wales is dire. Not their fault, the paramedics etc are wonderful but so overstretched.
I bet RM didn't have to stay outside the hospital for 12 hours in the ambulance like a friend of ours did last week.

MissAdventure Sun 28-Nov-21 21:46:46

They're showing some of the best bits from past programmes.
Christopher Biggins with a rat snuggled up in his bed with him grin
Priceless!

EkwaNimitee Sun 28-Nov-21 09:21:41

I don't watch it but if it's your thing why not....It really annoys me when it's on for one reason, ITV usually put the 10pm News back for it and I love to watch that but I'm not staying up extra late for it. So the Beeb gets an extra audience member instead.

I don’t watch it but I’m pretty sure RM arranged his ambulance trip to ensure he’d bust the covid bubble so could go home.

Aveline Sun 28-Nov-21 08:38:51

Well just don't watch it!

Allsorts Sun 28-Nov-21 08:34:50

I don’t watch it, it’s just ridiculous especially those degrading eating challenges, they really will eat dirt for the money.

sodapop Fri 26-Nov-21 09:10:25

Did he actually get the whole amount for that short time Forsythia I rest my case
Cynical - moi ?

rafichagran Thu 25-Nov-21 19:44:46

I love I'm a Celebrity, and agree that David Ginola is lovely, very easy on the eye.

Forsythia Thu 25-Nov-21 19:31:04

I don’t watch it, can’t stand antndec, but just seen online that Richard Madeley gets £200,000 for his four day stint. I guess it’s nice work if you can get it?

Sweetpeasue Thu 25-Nov-21 19:20:07

Just seen on news that Richard Madeley can't return as he's left covid bubble. I would have thought having a PCR test would have been sufficient security to go back in. It's quite strange.

BlueBelle Thu 25-Nov-21 16:57:46

I did wonder sodapop I ve only seen snatches as it long lost any interest for me and I m tired to the back teeth with Ant and Dec plus there are only four people in it whose names I recognise
He seemed to have been released straight away strange how people wait for hours and hours for an ambulance but one arrived immediately for him

Grandma70s Thu 25-Nov-21 16:28:53

Kate1949

Grandma70s You may not be so puzzled when you hear that it is rumoured that Richard Madeley is getting £200,000.

I wouldn’t do it, even for that!

Perhaps he didn’t realise how bad it was going to be,

Anniebach Thu 25-Nov-21 16:27:51

Not only you sodapop

Is it only me who feels a bit cynical about the Richard Madely incident.
