The character is quite convincing though. It makes me feel uncomfortable (sorry )

I got the joke and fortunately so did Dermot! The character gives me the creeps, but that is his intention.

This is surreal. Just as I was reading this whilst watching portrait artist of the year they announced that Barry Humphrey’s is tonight’s sitter.

I always think of him as Dame Edna even when he’s being Sir Les!

Just seen it and he was great sitter and really entertaining.

They actually chose the artist I liked!

He was defo the best and Christian second I loved his portrait if his son on his bike
I really can’t take to Barry Humphries at all seems his wives can’t either married 4 times

His portrait of the violinist was amazing: nothing like what I expected. It’s like ‘where did that come from’!

I don’t like Barry Humphries at all. Never come across such a big ego in my life. I do, however,think he is very talented but not in a good way. He likes to make fun of ordinary decent people.

I don't like Barry Humphries whichever character he's in.
