Rhys was never going through to the final. The Beeb now have their dream team.

A gay couple, a black TV presenter and a deaf contestant. Two black TV presenters would have upset the balance.

I think it was the right decision. Rhys has done brilliantly well but I thought John was better.

And I thought the race was the best one I've seen for a long time and Max drove brilliantly.

I didn’t like John’s dance at all. It will be a close contest between Rose and AJ next week.

I'm going to go against the grain, I'm really happy the boys went through. I never enjoyed watching Rhys dance although I can see how good a dancer he is.

But Rose to win next week.

The final is as predicted, although I would like to have seen Rhys go though.

Terrible decision, I felt. Thought Rhys Samba had more content than John's Jive.
Quite low tonight. Strictly has been a wonderful series this year and has been something to look forward to. The final next week will be amazing though and look forward to the showdances.

DH said he could have danced like John (for about 30 seconds).

I think Rhys will be snapped up by some promoter. He could appear in Grease or West Side Story or any of those shows. He's a terrific dancer with boundless energy.

I loved his energetic farewell dance.

Wish all four could have been in the final but regardless of what happened tonight, the winner next week, I hope, is Rose.

Wrong decision in my opinion, but they were unanimous.

I wish the judges decided the final, not the public as the pressure groups will now go into operation.

I felt sad for Rhys tonight, not even sure it was the right result now. I think as someone has just said John & Johanas peaked too early.
Anyway it is what it is, looking forward to next week.
(At the moment I have the dulcet tones of Bozza in my ear!!)

He is a super dancer and any other year would have made the final but the competition has been fierce this year.
John & Johannes know they are going into the final as the underdogs since the public didn’t save them and next week the Judges don’t get a vote.

Yes the series seems to have flown by Charleygirl .
We also have the Christmas special and I’m booked to see the tour in February.

We will soon find out who is on their way home. I cannot believe we have the final next week and then zilch for a year. They must, next year, as used to happen, show everything on the same night and then there will be no spoilers.

I’ve just caught up with last nights show and loved it. I thought AJ and Kai were fabulous tonight, especially their quick step. Rose and Giovanni’s waltz was beautiful. I hope AJ and Rose make it to the final with Rhys. I feel John and Johannes have peaked and their time might be up.
