I really loved Ted Lasso. I enjoyed the Morning Show, and I found For All Mankind very interesting

Much the same as Netflix and Prime.
Everything is through an app now.

I got 12 months free with my new iPad earlier in the year. Like everyone my favourite is Ted Lasso, both seasons were a delight. I also loved both seasons of See starring Jason Momoa. I also watched The Morning Show, Invasion and Foundation, but tbh, if I never saw another episode of any of them, I wouldn’t care.
I think the production values, cinematography, costumes of actual Apple TV+ programmes are excellent, but the quality of the acting often is not. I’ve watched a couple of films and a few Charlie Brown shorts. And sorry, Jane43, I thought Finch was average at best, as was Swan Song, the newest film on offer.
I don’t have any kind of “pay to view” package, and don’t think Apple TV+ overall is worth even £5 per month.
What has been suggested on Mumsnet is that you wait until the whole of a season of your favourite programme is available, take out a subscription, binge view and cancel immediately.

I got a year free Apple+ with my iPad, I didn’t find anything that wasn’t on the other services.

We have just got five months free through Barclaycard. If you haven’t done so yet give the film Finch starring Tom Hanks a try. We are still exploring what’s available, some content is pay to view but on the whole it is better value than Now tv so if we decide to keep Apple tv next May we will probably cancel our Now tv Entertainment package which we have on special offer for the same price as Apple tv,

We watch very little TV as the we find the main terrestrial channels are just grim…….Mrs Browns Boys being a prime example?.
After a recommendation from our daughter we have signed up to Apple TV at £4.99 a month.
The Apple app is easy to use and is accessed through Sky.
Our favourite at the moment is Ted Lasso.
I’m posting this because despite being techy and usually quite well informed I thought Apple TV had to be accessed via special firesticks or boxes!
We’ve really been missing out!
